I loved being part of the Creative Fund: Comedy Edition, and being one of the final 10 chosen to take part in the show was a win enough for me at this early stage in my comedy career! (How very graceful runner-up up of me, I know...)

I didn't really get to showcase any of my own stand-up material during the series and would have loved the chance to get to the final to show off and seek the attention I so desperately crave, so instead I thought I'd share a bit of the set that won me my place in the competition here.

I know right? Absolute gasp!

Ep. 2 got me thinking…I believe it was Dido who once said ‘I will go down with this ship, and I won’t put my hands up and surrender’. And guys, Dido was a fool.

I came, I learned, I met some delightfully funny & kind people AND I got to leave whilst saying the words ‘It’s okay guys, it was my time 🙏’ which as a total reality TV nerd, was truly a dream come true 🫶

Thanks to @hooraymae @londonhughes and @jamalimaddix for putting me forward for the final 10, which was prize enough for me tbh and all the lovely folk on and off camera for a fabulous few days.

Week 1 and I’m still adjusting to the dizzying heights of fame following the first episode coming out.

My local paper ran an interview with me and it soon became clear there’d been a slight mis-communication. I tried to tell him about the time I totally ‘bombed’ at my second stand up gig. He heard ‘bonked’.

This wholesome anecdote is now a closer description of my first time, for the whole town to enjoy ✌️
