I am writing these few words sitting in my hospital room where I have been for 3 days and I will be staying for a few weeks.

Following the terrible announcement of my illness, I collapsed. It all started with severe chest pain and inability to sleep, an emergency room visit, tests, cell abnormalities, biopsies.

The hardest part of arriving at this institute specializing in hematology was the announcement of the chemo and therefore of the isolation. I have a 9-month-old baby, my diamond, my jewelry, with whom I was day and night, that I was breastfeeding.

This isolation therefore implies a separation from her, I have the impression that my whole heart is being torn from me. I'm terrified, I feel so small in front of all this.

But I'm strong and I have to fight to get my loved ones back in my arms.

I never thought I would experience something so hard, it's more something I've always seen in movies. I so want to roll in the grass, sand, swim, put my feet on the ground and scream. Cry.

It is terribly unfair what is happening to me. I am also here to allow myself to ask you for help. We are both, Willy and I, without income. Willy had to leave without a job overnight to be able to take care of Nina so that all her needs for love and cuddles are satisfied and that she doesn't feel the lack too much. Even though she surely misses me, as much as I miss her. We still form a single being together and it's a part of me that's torn away.

So I am here to ask you for financial help, big or small. It will always be big for us. So that Willy can take care of Nina during the treatment and me too when I return home.

The treatment lasts 2 years and it will be long and I don't know how much he will be able to return to work because I will surely need him when I return.

I hope someone of you can help us through this difficult time.
