2023 has certainly turned out to be a very strange year for me. I feel like I am always busy, but not getting a ton done. It feels like time is moving slow and fast all at once.
I am staying positive but the world feels off kilter as of late. Am I alone in this feeling? How are you feeling?

high up in the Rocky Mountains, there are hidden lakes ๐ a full day's hike, and I made it to this incredible spectacle of nature that I feel like can only be found in the wild state of Colorado. ๐ฒ
The water was cold on my feet, the air felt dry, there were clouds for the first time in days. It felt cooler up in the elevation which was a respire from the unseasonable heat below โ๏ธ I remember the calm lapping of tiny waves as the wind pushed over the mountains, I remember the smell of the dirt and tiny rain drops. ๐ง
I apologize for taking a little break! I just needed to clear my head, and get some perspective on life a little. I do this from time to time, I know for some people that may seem crazy? But for me it has always felt reasonable, doable and something that keeps me firmly planted instead of living in the clouds.
I will be sending this gallery out to all of you this evening, it's from a day I felt I lived in the clouds, frolicking across the Nebraska plains. It was a cool day in September, I was so happy to see clouds in the sky and feel a breeze came across my skin.
I have been feeling restless lately, I was thinking of taking a trip in April but I am not sure if I have given myself enough time to book it. I have fallen behind on some things so I'm wondering if I should postpone my trip until the fall, but I would really like to get out and be on a trip! A neverending cycle of emotions ๐

I see a variety of wild life while I am traveling and going on hikes ๐พ this day, I saw a variety of birds but in particular I saw a desert turtle! He was on the smaller side, but had a beautiful shell, and was crossing right into the trail when I came upon him ๐
