Hey friends, I am a bit sad to be writing this post but you might have noticed my posts have slowed down significantly recently and I wanted to explain a little bit what’s been happening on my end.

A few weeks ago I found some accounts online of people claiming to be me, using all my photos and videos, faking my username and charging people for things like ‘a conversation with me’ etc. which of course, it isn’t as it’s not my account. But every time I saw this account post, I got more and more upset. Of course, I was aware of the risks of posting things to the internet and in the grand scheme of things, I don’t think it makes much of a difference in terms of my anonymity or anything like that, but it does upset me that all my content continuously gets stolen. It has (clearly) made me extremely reluctant to post anything these days and frankly I’m not sure what I can do about it.

Initially, I thought it would just be a slow couple of weeks until these accounts went down, then I’d go back to posting regularly, but I’ve reported them time and time and time again and no platform has really helped me in taking them down, which is super upsetting.

To that end, I never wanted to stop posting like this, but I don’t think I will feel comfortable doing so for so long as my content keeps getting used like this, so I plan on shutting things down.

If you know of any way I might be able to get rid of those accounts please, please let me know. I’m sorry and I will miss you guys and I hope maybe I get to come back and do this again in the future, perhaps I just need to find a different platform...
